To the Ends of the Earth

Yesterday I returned to the desert from an amazing adventure with God in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. Thank you for your prayers!

I continue to learn what it means to be sent even to the ends of the earth, and plumb the depth, width, and height of the Love that does the sending.

I went to visit my boyfriend Jonathan for a couple weeks and found myself overtaken by the abundance of God, mirrored in the natural by all the coconuts, papayas, and other fruits that grow there.

Before leaving for PNG I had a vision of the jungle to which I was heading and felt Papa speaking about walking in the garden with Him. And as I met Papuans I saw a people with a destiny to walk in intimacy with God in paradise.

And as I spent time with Jona praying for the sick and encouraging people, visiting the village in which he lived until he was 7, and spending time with him, his fam, and others who embraced me with so much love, I also found myself a participant in the vision. There is truly no greater joy than being known and loved by God and others and walking in the abundance of the Kingdom, from the desert to the jungle and everywhere in between.

Amazing hospitality in a village where I spoke some Arabic and told stories about the desert!
