A Gathering

A Gathering, 9 October 2017

I was sitting minding my own business studying Arabic when I heard the Lord say, "Gather them to me.” “Gather My scattered sons and daughters and bring them home to My embrace.”

How, Lord?

> “...darkness shall cover the earth and dense darkness all peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about you and see! They all gather themselves together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar...” Isaiah 60:2-4

He has given me a people now scattered throughout the earth. I am called to be a part of their gathering. It's bigger than one nation, or one people, though He has given me specific insight into the heart of the Syrian people.

Awhile ago the Lord asked me, “will you awaken the dawn in places yet to see My light?”

The glory will hit the earth in specific places, at specific times, and He will gather to coincide with a greater unveiling of His glory.

So what do I do, Lord?

“Arise, shine.” Just go out into the streets and into the homes and be. Lay the foundation and prepare the way for His glory to manifest!

So my assignment is to prepare regions for the unveiling of His glory through incarnational ministry to the poor and broken, establishing hubs bursting with so much light that the lost are drawn in!

And also, I am called to “point out” the glory who need their eyes trained to see, just like I have.

This is my call until “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Hab 2:14
